Health and Safety

Course Outline

This course looks at the key health and safety risks faced by office-based employees and sets out practical guidance on the steps they must take to help mitigate these risks. Health and safety is presented as everybody's responsibility, with a clear expectation that staff must raise potential hazards, not leave them for someone else to deal with.

Content includes topics of universal interest like workstation set-up, the office environment, avoiding slips and trips, and fire safety. It has a bright, modern look and feel, and uses a crash-test dummy 'character' to illustrate some of the practical lessons.

The course includes exercises and scenarios to test understanding. In particular, learners have the opportunity to identify potential issues in a series of interactive case studies which reinforce the course learning points.
